Cara comes from a long line of small business owners and got an early start working for family-owned businesses. She worked over 10 years for multi-national investment firms but realized her greatest satisfaction came from working hands-on with small business owners. After starting her family and helping her husband’s law firm implement a new accounting system, she began helping other small business owners with back office support until, organically, her small business flourished.

Lydia began her career as a financial analyst for large corporations, mostly helping department heads with budget planning & performance analysis. She then started her own business specializing in bookkeeping for small businesses. Her inspiration comes from seeing the achievements of fellow boss-owners and the creative autonomy small business ownership affords.
Elena Del Rey
Associate
Raised in Atlanta, Elena has seen the rise of amazing businesses, festivals, and markets, popping up throughout the city. Along with her bookkeeper skills, she brings to Lyra a background in business operations, human resources, and helps support Lyra's social media presence. In her free time, she can be found out on the Beltline with her husband and dog, checking out what's happening in the neighborhood.
